Eugène Clary (1856–1926)
born in Paris in 1856.
After artistic studies, he debut with 27 years of age at the Salon of French Artists.
In 1890, he receives the gold medal and later enters to the Société Nationale where he becomes a member.
He exhibits regularly at the Galleries George Petit, Bernheim, Reitlinger and even in London.
Impressionist painter of talent, he creates many works on the edges of the Seine, to which he could give an approach and a charm quite personal.
From 1908, he became gradually blind and the music was his refuge just up to his death in Les Andelys in 1926.
